TS Rigging - Tall Ships Ltd was established in 2022, born from the original TS Rigging Ltd, which restored the rig of Cutty Sark for her opening in 2012. Since then TS Rigging grew, working on an increasing number of historic tall ships around the country, eventually creating the specialised company TS Rigging - Tall Ships Ltd, allowing us to keep and expand the traditional skills required to look after such important vessels.
We believe that historical accuracy does not have to suffer for safety or maintenance concerns, and our knowledge of period rigging and modern materials, paired with our experience across the historic fleet, means we are well versed at creating a solution that best displays the rig of any static museum ship.
We work with museums to provide expert opinion and interpretation for not only rigging, but other areas too, from hull and deck works to canvas and sail making, plus more general maritime topics.
Our museum work is grounded in our work on vessels in the active sailing fleet, and have provided expert advice, rigging, safety at height solutions and surveys for large yachts, tall ships and other sailing historic vessels.
